Tampines Kiat Sing Ting

The story of Kiat Sing Ting (Ji Xing Ting) began in 1918, when three statues of Guanyin were brought from Myanmar to the home of a villager at Jalan Ang Teng (off Paya Lebar Road). In the same year, an attap-thatched house was built to house the Guanyin statues.
Due to land acquisition by the government, Kiat Sing Ting decided to join the united temple Tampines Chinese Temple and moved to a temporary temple in 1986/1987.
Tampines Chinese Temple was officially opened in 1992, which is made up of constituent temples Loyang Tian Gong Tan, Foo Ang Tien, Toh Tew Kang, Soon Hin Ko Beo, Kiat Sing Ting, Ji Yang Tang, Tsi Ling Kong, Simpah Tua Pek Kong, Loyang Tua Pek Kong, Han Yang Tua Pek Kong, Tampines 9th Milestone Tian Gong Tan, Tampines 9th Milestone Tua Pek Kong and Kampong Teban Tua Pek Kong .
